Crocosmia ? Oh..... You mean Montbretia !!

This summer conditions have been wet and miserable, but the Crocosmia ( Montbretia) seems to have thrived. The colours and foliage has been so intense and vivid. I know this plant, grown from corms, as Crocosmia, but people of an older age know it as Montbretia. These cheerful chappies were taken in my garden in July.

Chandelier lighting in Liverpool Town Hall. Paid a flying visit into a very busy Town Hall during the recent music festival. Afraid I did no justice to this building by spending less than 10 minutes inside, hopefully another visit can be made one day.
