Cordyline australis
Upper reaches of a Cordyline australis ( Cabbage Tree/Palm ) in our garden. Purchased 22 years ago, ironically in Douglas, Isle of Man (re. recent posts), labelled as a "Manx Palm", then small enough to place in a carry bag and transport home on aircraft.  Whilst a pretty unremarkable plant, I am very keen on the Cordyline as they lend  structure and texture, and dont really take up too much room in what is a small garden. Similarly, they are a touch exotic in our English gardens.
