Having spent this summer at home in UK, as such having not seen the sun for months, I was looking longingly at last years photos from Barbados. This one is taken from within the excellent Round House Inn, located in Bathsheba......wish I was there? You bet !!!

This summer conditions have been wet and miserable, but the Crocosmia ( Montbretia) seems to have thrived. The colours and foliage has been so intense and vivid. I know this plant, grown from corms, as Crocosmia, but people of an older age know it as Montbretia. These cheerful chappies were taken in my garden in July.
